10 June 2021 – Annular eclipse image

Rather surprisingly the low cloud did break at times here in Easter Ross this morning to allow some very warm sunshine through, and also give us a glimpse of today’s annular eclipse, thanks to this handy cardboard box that was in the shed and a pin. Neighbours may have been alarmed to see a man in his vest walking around the garden with a cardboard box on his head, but what the hell. I notice Scottish stations held full sway in the table of warmest temperatures across IONA at 09 UTC.

That’s a mental image that will scar me for life !!!!
Couldn’t you find any trousers or a kilt ?

    1. Thanks Steve.
I am of the old school and in my pocket I always have a handkerchief.
And I only stop wearing a vest when maximum temperatures reach 28°C which in this part of the world is not that often!
