12 Jan 2021 – visible satellite image

There’s still some snow visible across the northeast of Scotland, and there’s a slight dusting on the Cheviots and northern Pennines by the look of it in this mornings 1030 UTC visible satellite image. The warm front is already gathering out to the west, this could bring a spell of snow to the north as it edges eastward and occluding as it does so during Wednesday and Thursday.
