18 June 2021 – Quite a day

Since midnight rainfall estimates from weather radar suggest there has been around 60 to 70 mm of rain in the wettest places across Hampshire and northeast Berkshire. Spoking in the radar as usual from the trees at Chenies and a remarkably sharp western extent of the rainband across central England. A massive temperature gradient west-east into the near continent, from a cold 13°C in Buckinghamshire, to a hot 34.2°C in Dusseldorf.
