3 Apr 2021 – Sunshine for some…

It’s been a lovely sunny morning in the Strath after an early touch of frost and temperatures on our north facing wall are close to 14°C. The stratocumulus that invaded from the North Sea across the southeast I notice is getting decidedly threadbare in the last hour or so. Under that cloud temperatures have been 3°C or more lower than the LTA for 12 UTC in that cold northeasterly wind. but further north and west across IONA anomalies are in the range +2°C to +5°C. It will be interesting to see what the 12 UTC anomalies will be like at lunchtime on Monday in comparison.
