I doubt if last nights air frost will slow the grass that’s already growing rather too quickly for my liking thanks to the recent mild weather in our garden. Frost and snow are far from uncommon in April but they are getting less so. The coldest place last night on lower ground was Cassely in Sutherland. On a nice day, when we are free from the lockdown, I’ll have to make an effort to try and find as many of these climate sites in Northern Scotland as I can. Tatoosh Island sounds intriguing but that would take one hell of a drive to find.
