7-8 May 2021 – Minimum temperatures, sunshine & rainfall

A surprisingly sunny day yesterday, and although there were a couple of the very lightest of showers in the early afternoon, the day was predominately dry. The heavy rain from earlier in the week had fallen as snow above 2500 feet and coated Ben Wyvis in a mantle of solid white again. Woke up early this morning to see a lovely orangey red sunrise and another overnight frost this morning in the Strath, which might be the last for a while. The first week of May has turned out to be just as frosty as the month of April was. All change for the week ahead.
