A cold day in June

Today was just a cold day. None of this ‘cool’ bollocks pedalled by the weathercasters, just a plain cold day in June with anomalies widley in the range of -4°C to -6°C. It was dry in our part of the world in the North of Scotland, it wasn’t a day with a ‘lot of cloud around’ either, it was just plain cloudy and cold. I could have looked out a chart that showed the ‘feels like temperature’ but I didn’t need to it was just cold. We’ve just got the log burner going so we can sit in front of a cozy fire tonight. It’ll soon be the longest day and we’re still in lock down up here after ten weeks or more.
