Aberdeen sunniest in February

The weather has a way of balancing the books, and the 32.4 hours sunshine were a vast improvement on last months 4.9 hours at Loch Glascarnoch. The sunniest, and probably one of the driest spots in the country last month was Aberdeenshire, Dyce recording 125.4 hours of bright sunshine, and you would have to head half way down France to beat that total. Apart from that, and not having the monthly long-term averages of sunshine for many of these stations, I think sunshine in February at a guess looks to be average or slightly above across the UK.
