Alicante heat

You will have to excuse the odd colour scale that I have used to highlight these temperatures in Spain where it’s been unusually warm for the last couple of days along the southeast coast, that’s thanks to a north-westerly foehn wind of the mountains. Yesterday the 29.2°C recorded in Alicante looks to have set a new record high for January, and today at 12 UTC it’s already 27.2°C there.
