Amber warning for tomorrow expanded

The Met Office are pretty convinced that gusts of 60 to 70 mph will occur quite widely inland tomorrow across the bulk of England and Wales and have issued an amber warning to that effect, strangely to me at least, they don’t feel this is necessary for anywhere else. On the strength of this ICON model run I would be getting the heebeegeebees about the central belt of Scotland. The Met Office warnings board as usual when there are multiple warnings in force is something to behold – it’s art Jim, but not as we know it.
