Another sharp/hard/severe frost at Glascarnoch

There was another sharp/hard/severe frost again at Loch Glascarnoch overnight with a minimum 0f -8.5°C [18-06] over 12 cm of snow they still have. If we had had the right conditions who knows how low the temperature could have gone here. Loch Glascarnoch is not so much a frost hollow as the exit to a glen by a small river. Having said that we still have half cover here in the strath this morning and the hills above 300 M amsl are till snow covered. I noticed a lot of reports of ice and accidents along the A9 north of the Cromarty bridge overnight with no warnings of ice north of Aberdeen.
