April 2020 Anomaly Charts

Here are just some a few of the charts the Met Office climate section generated for April 2020. I prefer to use the anomaly charts because anomalies give you a frame of reference that allows for more meaningful comparisons between various regions across the country. The Met Office seem to have got these climate charts out in record time this month, they also seem to have changed the image size as well using white instead of blue for the colour of the sea, so it may well be that these have just been issued provisionally until they can get back to work and produce the pukka ones when the lockdown is eventually lifted. The precision they seem to manage in the sunshine chart still puzzles me when they are so few climate stations measuring it as far as I am aware.
