Tuesday could be an interesting weather day, as ex-tropical storm Sébastien comes calling, and getting quite close to the southwest of Ireland during the morning, before executing an exquisite spiral and heading off ESE towards Cornwall on Wednesday, that is of course if the ICON model is correct. I don’t know why the Americans opted for a French name in their list of tropical cyclones this year, perhaps they have partnered up with Meteo France in another name that storm collaboration. It just shows you just how uncultured and untravelled I am because I had to check that I’d spelt Sébastien correctly. I then got into a pickle because I could only find masses of information about a Scottish pop group when I did a search for Belle and Sebastian. Is this the third ex tropical cyclone that’s ended up close to IONA this season?
