Chances of snow on Thursday

Take your pick from these four NWP model solutions for 06 UTC on Thursday. The chances of snow all hinge on just how quickly the system occludes and how deep the breakaway low that develops on the triple point gets as the whole system edges eastward overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The models all seem to think that the occlusion, at least in the north, will still have enough momentum to clear the NE of Scotland during the day. This is the nearest fax chart solution from the UKMO for comparison.
