Do you ever get the feeling that the weather has it in for your region? I do. After yesterday’s cloud finally cleared away northward just before midnight we ended up with a clear and starry night, but not for long, as just around dawn another splodge of thick upper cloud invaded the skies across Scotland from the southwest to spoil what looked like being the first good looking day in a while up here.
It also looks like we could end up with another stalled cold front during Wednesday and Thursday across Scotland repeating the weather that we had between the 24th and 27th of March, so much for high pressure.
