Finally some snow in the dip

It seems to have snowed on just about every day this month in Strathpeffer, but at 70 M amsl it has not settled for very long. There has been a remarkably sharp snow line at around 200 metres for much of that time and it’s been a thoroughly raw and gloomy month down here in the dip where although it’s snowed it’s rarely settled. At last this morning a couple of centimetres has settled at all levels for a change, and for a time this part of Ross-shire resembles scenes on a Christmas card.
