Frost for the north?

I would have thought that there was a good chance of a sharp frost tonight across inland parts of Scotland, although the ICON model doesn’t seem to be going for one, it certainly feels crisp and cold enough this evening. It maybe that although there’s little in the way of wind at the moment, the gradient will gradually pick up and cloud thickens later in the night to keep temperatures from falling too low. With a day maximum of 12°C and dew point of around 3°C at that time the McKenzie formula should come in at least 0°C or below for a night of clear skies and light winds.
