It’s going to be a cold, cold Christmas without you

Good old Dana! Whatever happened to her? Of course this is not December 1975 anymore, but there’s still bugger all on telly and it might be a bit draughty eating Christmas dinner with all the windows open, but at least we have the GFS to keep us entertained! Their latest piece of science fiction is a howling northerly that pushes south on Boxing day across the country, if only. Of course in 192 hours this forecast will have been seriously modified and look entirely different. I see the Great Oz has gone out on a limb in his long range forecast for Christmas by saying the snow may fall in places especially on high ground – who’d have believed it – isn’t science absolutely wonderful! The chance of fog maybe increasing, but I don’t see it being much of a problem on the 27th.
