June 2020 – monthly weather summary

Here are the anomalies for the three basic weather elements in June 2020 using the new updated map of the UK with Shetland no longer in a box. Rather surprisingly, Scotland had the highest mean temperature anomalies during June, and was just slightly warmer than the rest of the UK, with the southeast the driest region with average rainfall for June, whilst East Anglia finished the month with the highest sunshine anomalies of all ten regions.
