Meteogroup and UKMO model differences

Coutesy of UKMO & BBC

Quite a difference in the models being touted by BBC and Meteogroup and the UKMO this afternoon. The rain area in the model used by the BBC is much further south than the one used by the UKMO for approximately the same time (15 UTC on Monday). I suppose by the time we get to Monday nobody will notice the difference especially if its raining. I guess the BBC are using the ECMWF model and the Met Office for once, are using their own, although I can’t believe that their latest T+60 forecast chart (below) is just three hours ahead of it.
