Misleading temperatures from the BBC

Louise Lear says that it’s noticeably milder for most parts away from the far northeast, and on that point I can’t really disagree with her in that. But I can disagree with her temperature chart for 16 UTC and the remarkably mild level temperatures are forecast to be at Lerwick, Stornoway and Aberdeen which are way too high. In fact the 12 UTC temperatures that I’ve replaced them with might well be much lower in four hours time. There is an obvious clue in the blue contours I suppose, but wouldn’t it have be a good idea just to pop a 0°C temperature label across either Inverness or Aviemore to give viewers an idea of the temperature?
