An interesting small trough is forecast to come down from the north and affect the north of Scotland during the early hours of Monday morning. This is a cold air feature and I should imagine showers from it will be primarily of snow. Even the Great Oz is taking no chances with this one and has issued a snow warning for some slight accumulations to cover himself/herself knowing that I’m red hot at pointing out when they don’t. Meanwhile further south another occlusion is pushing north into Wales and the Midlands with some hill snow according to the GFS and ICON models but curiously there’s nothing in the other two. The NWP models don’t seem to have a clue about what’s going on even at T+30 at the moment.
