Darren Bett reckons the rest of the week after Tuesday is going to be not as cold and less windy than it’s been today. I don’t know why he has chosen to ignore the low that rushes eastward to the north of Scotland on Thursday, or the cold front that then sweeps southward behind it to reintroduce cold air back across the north on Friday, but he has. If these models are right, Friday will be another cold and windy day across the north of Scotland with more sunshine and snow showers and not that dissimilar to today.

It’s equally as cold here as it was on Monday Darren.
