Now you see it, now you don’t

All that sea fret and low cloud has now disappeared into the ether, apart from a patch in the inner Moray Firth and all down the Aberdeenshire coast, and another along the southeast coast of Eire. It’s not so much the gradient that’s bringing the cloud onshore, as was responsible on other days, but more likely a sea breeze effect. Convective cloud is building up over the high ground, especially that of central and northern Wales as it did yesterday.
