Paulette returns from the grave

On the 12th of September the ACE index in the Atlantic for 2020 was slightly below the LTA, but ten days later with the help of hurricanes Paulette and Teddy the ACE index on the 22nd has now exceeded 100 and is well above the LTA. Things look like they are calming down a bit now, although I notice that ex-hurricane Paulette has reinvigorated herself into a tropical storm, not the first time that a tropical cyclone has returned from the grave like this, but not common.

*Note to programmer chappie watch to see if you plot Paulette’s tack correctly!
