Polarstern reaches North Pole

Apologies for the late posting about the MOSAiC expedition arrival at the North Pole. I had given up on the Polarstern ever reaching the North Pole, especially after the MOSAiC expedition was cut short this spring. But the expedition remustered in Svalbard and this month gave it another go, finally reaching the Pole on the 20th of August. I’ve never seen SYNOP observations from the North Pole before so here they are. I’m not sure if the longitude when you’re on top of the world with a latitude of exactly 90.00° north shouldn’t be recorded as 0.00° west, but none of the observations seem to have been, perhaps due to precision and rounding.
