It’s interesting to look back at the hourly sunshine totals of the last three days. Saturday’s sunshine was affected by the large amounts of thick high cloud that was around. The dearth of sunny skies in the north and west of Scotland has gradually pushed the yellow bands further south (the charts are sorted north-south). It’s been bright at times today and milder, with a layer of thick lenticular medium level cloud, and at times a strong and gusty wind, and it’s managed to stay mainly dry apart from just a couple of light showers. I forgot that I wrote this viewer a while back, there are one or two stations were the sunshine sensor kas gone U/S but a part from that it works pretty well.
