Sunday at T+48

Here’s a quick look at the T+48 forecast charts from the 12 UTC model run from four different NWP models. The west southwesterly gradients look pretty tight across the country on Sunday morning especially south of 54° north, although the bent back occlusion looks like it will tighten things up north of this as it clears through during the afternoon and evening. It looks like the low centre will track east across the north of Sutherland and Caithness. There is a spread of solutions for just how deep it will be as it does this from 941 to 951 hPa.
