The fillip from the sunshine in the last few days of the month helped totals look a little more respectable for May. Ronaldsway seem to live a charmed life during the month with regard to sunshine and ended up with 230.7 hours and beating sunny Jersey into second place. Usual local coding issue at Zeebrugge and the mysterious old 03800 station that’ been popping recently for the Scilly Islands. And wonder of wonders it maybe that the Met Office have took my advice and attached a sunshine sensor to the Tulloch Bridge AWS in an effort to plug the gap in the network across western Scotland. If they want to relocate the Kinloss AWS now that the airfield is officially closed, they could always put it at the bottom of our garden for a nominal rent.
