The weather presenters book of dodges #2

A classic weather presenters dodge from Tomasz Schafernaker in this afternoon BBC forecast at 2.58 PM on the news channel. All afternoon he had been given a minute or less by the producer to present his forecast to his waiting public and then finally when he gets three minutes he’s off! It’s a real education watching him perform, but as he gets to the part of the forecast for overnight Sunday, he no sooner mentions he can “see some snow falling over the Highlands” than as quick as a flash he smartly moves on to the forecast chart for Monday and launches into an explanation of what those funny wiggly lines are – absolutely brilliant! You can’t say he hasn’t mentioned the snow – but that’s all he has done just mentioned it – he expertly executed the perfect ploy to get him out of this tight situation very quickly – just changed the subject!
