They forgot about Snowdonia again!

The values of the maximum rainfall accumulations in their amended and shortened yellow warning for heavy rain look fairly reasonable, maybe totals were a little higher over the highest ground across Argyl, but they forgot to include North Wales (again), and maybe should have included parts of northwest England. In my estimates from weather radar there look to have been totals in excess of 80 mm across Snowdonia today, in fact the 06-18 actual rainfall at Capel Curig today was 69 mm and if that doesn’t deserve a warning I don’t know what does. You can bet they’ll use the old impact excuse that not many people live there. I’m also hanging my head in shame as my estimate of 35 mm looks a little bit on the light side as well!
