This evenings cold front

A very fierce looking weather radar image this evening as the waving cold front crosses Northern Ireland with a squall line across Belfast. The great Glen is the demarcation zone between the heavy rain across the northwest at the moment as it so often is. Just looking at the latest NWP for our part of Northern Scotland, and it looks like the warm air won’t arrive as quickly from the south as the break down will from the west later this week! Having said that I did notice it did manage to get close to 22°C at Lossiemouth during this afternoon.
