Todays anomalies and wind chill

Here are today’s temperature anomalies [12 UTC] and wind chill values for across the UK [13 UTC]. Much of northern and western Scotland is between two and six degrees below average for the second of April, whilst many parts of England are between one and five degrees above the long-term average. There have been a number of snow showers today despite temperatures outside the showers getting up to around 6°C, and as far as I can recall it’s snowed in every month since November in this part of the world.
