Tuesday’s low miraculously develops a warm sector

Surprise, surprise the frontal system that’s entwined around Tuesday’s vigorous area of low pressure has now miraculously developed a warm sector in this afternoons video forecast from Alex Deakin at the Met Office. Good old Alex, at least someone’s got some sense at the Met Office. The BBC have also given in and added a warm front and much reducing the length of the trailing occluded front. The Great Oz is not one to be deterred though, and still stubbornly refuses to budge in any of his forecast charts, preferring to keep a 1500 mile long occlusion which spirals around and stretches all the way from from Glasgow to Madrid at 12 UTC on Wednesday.
