UKMO model overdoing the rain

It is always difficult to pin the Met Office down with their refusal to make publicly available any of their NWP data, but I would say on a number of occasions during the last couple of weeks whatever model it is they are using, and who knows it could be the ECMWF, it’s overdoing the amount of rain that’s forecast across Scotland. My radar estimates look fairly reasonable, but if I you look at the chart that Alex Deakin was using in his video forecast, and darker blue represented moderate rain, I would say that it’s well over the top with small amounts of rain that actually fell overnight. Of course it’s entirely possible that apart from a select few down in Exeter I’m the only one that’s noticed this and gives a damn.
