Wet in the northeast of Scotland

Estimates from weather radar

It’s been a very wet 24 hours along the coastal strip of Caithness and Aberdeenshire with 50-60 mm of rain accumulating in the wettest spots, but the worst of it now seems to be limited to Caithness as I write this blog (17 UTC). A very good forecast from the models, but the warning which doesn’t expire till 12 UTC tomorrow, seems to be over long.
