Yesterdays rainfall from storm Fabien

There was further rainfall in the south as storm Fabien tracked east overnight across the south. It’s hard to miss the fact that it’s been so wet in the south recently, because if the news isn’t talking about wildfires and record temperatures in Australia, then it’s certainly going to be about how wet it’s been across southern counties. Here are the overnight estimates 24 hour accumulations [06-06] from the weather radar, wet but not overly so. The last week has certainly been wet right along the south coast, and particularly so in Hampshire and Sussex by the looks of this chart, and it looks like there’s more to come over the Christmas period.
