Just back from a walk along the shores of the Cromarty Firth. The weather was beautiful to start with but a passing CB had other ideas. We were just on the edge of it as it tracked to the north, but we did get an icy blast as it passed us by, with snow and a little soft hail even to sea level as it slid across the firth close to Alness. Ben Wyvis as usual at this time of the year looked very resplendent in its Alpine garb especially it’s northeast corries. I would have included a shot but as usual I took the wrong lens for my DSLR.
