Emphasis switches to south coast as Ellen does a 48 hour long pirouette over Ireland

It looks like the strongest of the winds from Storm Ellen will now affect the south coast of Ireland later this evening (T+24) rather than the northwest if this hires ECMWF model is correct. That’s not to say that will be the end of the matter, because 24 hours later after doing a rather elegant pirouette, Ellen will take another swing at western Ireland. I wonder if the Met Office will extend their yellow warning this morning, north to include more of western Scotland?
