First 20°C in Scotland so far this year

Hard to believe that Altnaharra is the warmest place with in the country at 14 UTC with 19.7°C, when not that many miles to the south we are struggling at 12°C. I’m taking a bit of a risk with the headline in assuming that the maximum there has exceeded 20°C but what the hell.

Well the 18 UTC maximum temperatures proved me wrong and Altnaharra topped out at 19.9°C. Thank goodness Kinlochewe stepped in with a 06-18 maximum of 21.5° to spare my blushes.
