Global temperatures continue to down tick

My DIY global temperatures series continues to down tick from a peak of around 9.975°C in the 365 day moving average in mid February, to 9.93°C at the start of August. Granted that’s only a miniscule fall of 0.045°C but that’s enough to mean that July 2020 was only the tenth warmest in my DIY series that started in 1948. More than likely my results won’t be mirrored in the official GISTemp series, but I’ll continue to stand by my simple DIY methodology, the main reason I do is I faithfully tracked the uptick which started in late 2018 so there’s no reason I shouldn’t react to this slowing in warming or cooling as it is termed by some.
