Hurricane Paulette is bearing down on Bermuda at 06 UTC (14 September 2020) this morning and is likely to make a direct hit later today with the islands before turning north. The L F Wade Airport on the island can always be relied upon to deliver a quality manual observation unlike many land based semi-automatic observing sites in the region.
Judging by the 09 UTC observation it may be that hurricane Paulette may well have tracked northwestward southeast of the airport. The airport lies on a separate island northeast of the main island. Google have very kindly placed a marker where the NHC reckon Paulette can be found!
