Latest UK regional precipitation

A little late with the 12 month running totals of precipitation across the various regions of the UK but here they are now. As usual I’ve included hyetographs of the driest and the wettest regions. Northern Scotland has the lowest anomaly in the 12 months ending the 31st of January with just 104% of the average and tracking just a little above the 1981-2010 LTA. The wettest region is still the northwest of England and north Wales currently running at over 133% of the LTA, with the gap ever widening between actual and average since the dry April and May of 2020.
