March 2020 – wet in the northwest but rather dry in the east

March 2020 was a wet month in the northwest of Scotland, but further south and east rainfall was closer to the seasonal average, and the further east that you came the drier it became, such that counties bordering the North Sea, such as East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk were rather dry with some place collecting only 14 or 15 mm of rain during the whole month. I am a bit ahead of myself here because we still have one more days rainfall totals to collect.
