November 2020 – Fifth mildest since 1884

Mean temperatures across the whole of the UK were 7.7°C during November 2020. That was 1.5°C above the 1981-2010 LTA and made it the joint fifth mildest November since 1884. Sunshine was below average in most regions apart from East Anglia and northern Scotland. It was a fairly dry month especially in the east, but Northern Ireland and western Scotland were wetter than average.
