Rain finally clearing away

It’s been more or less rained continuously in our part of northeast Scotland since lunchtime on Friday. Nothing exceptionally heavy, just continuous slight or moderate rain or for the last three days or so. It’s finally cleared away now as the various occlusions have been pushed back southward, by colder northeasterly winds, and this morning its dry and quite bright which makes a welcome change. The estimated totals for yesterday across Scotland show that the wettest areas align well with the yellow warning for heavy rain issued by the Met Office.
