Rainfall in the last year

The accumulated rainfall from the gridded regional rainfall data series that started in 1931 are all showing above average aggregates except that is for the North of Scotland, which thanks to a less wet November up here, now has an annual running total of just 96.2% of the LTA. In contrast the annual total for Central England is currently at 125.5% of the LTA. The wet spell has coincided with the change in circulation patterns to a more mobile cyclonic type, that is still on going even now.
