Scotland is getting wetter

There is no denying that Scotland has been progressively wetter for the last 158 years or so. The linear trend for the year indicates that it’s been getting wetter now by 12.1 mm per decade, which on the face of it doesn’t sound much, but in actuality means that there is now more than 190 mm of rain annually than there was at the start of the series back in 1862.
