Just fascinating to watch the movement in the multicellular cloud to the west of IONA. If you watch closely there seems to be a pulse of could moving westward as the day progresses, I reckon it must be another thin layer of altocumulus or more likely a thin cirrus. The northeast coast of England seems to have got away with quite a sunny day thanks to the onshore breeze from the northeast, not warm but out of the wind pleasant enough. Plenty of orographic standing wave cloud on the lee side of the high ground of the Pennines, Snowdonia and western Ireland.
