Everywhere got some rain across IONA this weekend thanks to storm Alex. The lowest totals where in parts of the south and west of Ireland, the west of Cornwall, East Anglia and Lincolnshire. The highest totals from what I can see where to the north and west of London, Herefordshire and the Black mountains of Wales, Exmoor, parts of Snowdonia and a large part of the eastern Grampians and Aberdeenshire. The very highest totals of 150-175 mm over the three days (purple pixels) were reserved for the highest ground in the Grampians. The ICON model accumulated rainfall forecast for this weekend was way of mark again.
